6 Down... (Sydney, Australia)

Today is my 6 month travelling anniversary! Wow, do you miss me yet?? I bet you're guessing that I've got 6 more months to go, but you're wrong. Jeremy and I have decided to keep going, I'm not going to be home until Feb or March of next year. This gives me more time to stay in Australia and work. Work = $$$ = longer travel time = fun! Well, I guess work doesn't exactly equal fun, especially when its in a call center, phoning people and persuading them to buy life or death insurance. Jeremy and I both have gotten jobs at a busy telemarketing firm, with 500 employees all trying to sell insurance. We just got hired today and start this coming Monday. In the interview they basically told us its a job where we get rejected 97% of the time and we talk about death all day! That'll be good for a morale booster!!! Oh well, the job pays really well and there'll be lots of other backpackers that we'll be with. Wish me luck on my new job. I haven't worked in over 6 months, this will be a definite shock to my system, 5 days/week from 11:45am-8pm. Plus if I opt to, I can work on Saturdays, well sign me up!
