Compare & Contrast

Maybe someone could help me out. I have to write an essay for my English course that I'm taking via correspondence. I've been given a few choices for topics which relate mostly to these suggested readings; or I can choose my own topic.

Any ideas?

Something with not so much research involved would be ideal. Obviously it has to be a compare & contrast essay if you haven't figured that part out yet.

I'm blank. I wanted to do 'vacationing' vs. 'backpacking' but the last essay I did was about how backpackers do laundry while on the road. I'm gonna think out loud... please jump in at any time.

power vs. authority? nah... too... intangible
mp3 players vs. stereo systems?
1970's Stevie Wonder vs. current day Stevie Wonder?
movie at home vs. movie at the theatres?

On another note, I'm glad to say that what I just did above is the most homework I've done all weekend! Woohoo!
