Word of the Day (Lima, Perú)

I love learning new words in Spanish. I often remember the ones that were taught me in daily life, incidentally. Back in Mancora, for example, there's a lighthouse that someone had pointed out to me while speaking spanish and I was like "huh?". Faro... faro, he said. Well since then I've heard the word faro (lighthouse) like at least 8 more times! It's not a common word I'd use in Canada but then again I don't live on the coast. So today... In the capital city, I'm meeting up with someone by the... (what's the word of the day?)... faro on the "malecon".

Malecon... That'll be tomorrow's word of the day... Which sounds very similar to "maricon"... Haha funny story!
