The Finals Part I: Closing the symbolic door.
Here goes... my final travel blog. In pieces. Its way too long, nor is it 100% complete to put it all into one entry. Thing is, I started writing it a couple days after I got home. Actually I even started writing some of it while I was still traveling. So its going to have different perspectives.
At first I wanted to put it out straight away, but now I'm scared that once I put it out its all over. Time to move on. Well, I already have in some ways and in others its just so difficult to let it go. However, I don't want to be branded the 'guy who won't shut up about that time he went traveling.' I gotta stop dwelling on it and make some new memories.
Geez, after that build up this blog better be damn good. Well, tough shit, its not.

Daily Tracking: October 13, 2003 - March 12, 2005
Below is a list of the various cities and countries I went to. I actually spent some real time in these places, if I were to list each and every little town that I passed through or had a rest stop while on the bus, the list would be doubled. Some places are listed more than once because I had to either back track or because I chose to return. You'll notice Bangkok on there 7 times, I think in total I spent at least 16 days there. Not by choice, but not regrettable either.

dean, are you bitter?
Ok, I've thought about this, long and hard. The answer's no.
You know what it is, right now I've only got a long term plan in place, which is something I'm not used to. I'm the type of person that does what they want and will do it here and now.
Well, right now, what I want is to be a teacher, its going to take a LONG time to reach that goal. If I have to work my ass off to pay for an education, then so be it. I guess the only thing I can focus on right now are the last real good times I had. My travels.
I'd like to make the most of my time in the present, but when you're working 2 jobs you don't get much free time to do so.
welcome back to the "real" world. as long as your happy where you are, that's ok... you had me worried.
Hey Dean
Just in case you're wondering, I noticed your comment about the blog thing.
I'm working on it. I find it tough.
Good thing I suppose is that I've been thinking about you for two weeks now. ;)
No problem Kyle, I can wait. Quite understandable since we haven't seen each other in probably 5 years.
Whatever happened to having lunch one day?
Dean, you've had a wonderful experience and I envy you. I will get my chance though. I have very strong ties to Southeast Asia now. Wifey will drag me back many times I'm sure. Heck, I might even live there one day! If I do, please come visit!
